RIMOWA recently launched its “Never Still” campaign that features Kim Jones, Dior Men’s Artistic Director, along with basketball legend LeBron James as well as piano prodigy Yuja Wang. The campaign consists of three short films, telling three different stories but a collective mindset. The luggage manufacturer company from LVMH marked its 120th anniversary last year. The company that defines people’s journey through its products makes it journey purposeful with innovation and interesting campaigns like this latest one.“Echoing its first global campaign — ‘No one builds a legacy by standing still’ — RIMOWA adds a new angle to the story with the “Never Still” campaign, focusing on the hardships of life on the road, both real and metaphorical, and the resilience and drive needed to thrive,” says LVMH.The latest campaign, through three films, recounts three impactful stories. The protagonist in each of the stories be it James, Jones or Wang shares an intimate look at their iconic lives on the road. They exude the confidence to never ever stop at any given destination in the film. They display courage about how constantly they have overcome challenges that has driven them towards success.“RIMOWA’s ‘Never Still’ is a powerful concept on which we continue to build. The film features an urban setting in Tokyo along with the luxuriant landscapes of India. The narration celebrates each of these places and tells how the Dior Men’s Artistic Director got inspiration from them while visiting the place for work. His journey is inspirational.“The films featuring LeBron James and Yuja Wang will be released later in June. Directed by Philippe Temelman, the first offers a poetic look at the importance of being driven to go outside the comfort zone.
