Louis Vuitton recently launched a new fragrance trail with Les Sables Roses, which is an homage to the perfume culture of the Middle East. Adding new fervour and mood to the existing list of fragrances from Louis Vuitton, the perfume brings together rose, oud and ambergris creating compositions that are vibrant and contrasting. We all know that the Middle East follows a rich perfume tradition and practise a culture with ancestral rites that stretch back over thousands of years, offering Louis Vuitton and its Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud a limitless source of inspiration. Following a first interpretation with Ombre Nomade, the Maison now continues the journey with a new fragrance called Les Sables Roses, as per LVMH.“An ode to the magic of the desert, Les Sables Roses evokes the spellbinding moment in time at daybreak when the first rays of sunlight bathe the landscape in a shade of rose that blends dunes and sky. Between night and day, shadow and light, cold and heat, this instant reconciles contrasts. To capture this duality in the new Louis Vuitton fragrance, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud created a composition that celebrates rose, oud and ambergris,” says LVMH.The Master Perfumer behind this unique fragrance orchestrated a harmony of contrast by picking up the finest raw materials. Rose and oud are used for their beauty of their natural scent that resides in complexity. On the other hand, a rare ingredient, ambergris enhances the subtlety of the two scents, creating an equilibrium between the sensual freshness of the rose and the woody depth of oud.“The result is a lively, sensual trail in its own right that at the same time invites layering of different perfumes, a time-honored concept in the Middle East. The tradition of layering allows people to personalize their perfume buy combining two different scents. Les Sables Roses can, for example, be worn with Ombre Nomade for an even more distinctive olfactory journey,” says LVMH.For the uninitiated, the Louis Vuitton label came into being in 1854 and was founded by Vuitton on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France. When Louis Vuitton observed that the HJ Cave Osilite trunk could be easily stacked, later in 1858, he introduced his flat-topped lightweight and airtight trunks. Before the advent of Vuitton's trunks, rounded-top trunks were used, basically to promote water runoff, and therefore could not be stacked.Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the fragrance. https://www.blouinartinfo.com/ Founder: Louise Blouin Read more
