Miu Miu recently unveiled its Croisiere 2020 collection. “For the MiuMiu Club 2020, AMO reexamines the Parisian Hippodrome d’Auteuil situated along the border of the Bois de Boulogne — a venue that has since 1873 hosted some of the most celebrated French tournaments — to stage a series of events culminating in a fashion show, a horse race, and an exclusive party,” states the Miu Miu press release. The venue was modified by using a new wooden volume that was inserted as part of the existing grand tribune, offering a large balcony that was used as catwalk and observation deck. Models strutted along the linear tribune in contrast with the vast grass field of the racetrack that reached the border of the city. The whole setup was illuminated by a warm golden Parisian sunset, as per Miu Miu.Keeping up with the tradition of the venue, the Miu Miu Jockey Club embarked on with a race, preceding the fashion show. The multiple events were spread across the Hippodrome from ‘Salon’ to ‘Lobby’ devised as a bold reinterpretation of the building’s existing 1970s interiors.People who follow Miu Miu know that the brand is the most unrestrained portrayal of Miuccia Prada’s creativity.
