The face has carved with four characters ‘Emperor’s Shun Bao.’ This seal was used in recruiting army or war order. The finial has carved with two dragons. Dimensions: Face area: 4 in. X 4 in., H 3 3/4 in. Featured in lot 67. Estimate: 30,000 USD - 50,000 USD— “Bronze Water Basin with Inscriptions.” This is an important Western Zhou water basin with inscriptions. It has 18 rows and 15 words in each row, total 270 characters. This is one of the Western Zhou bronzes that has the most inscriptions. Dimensions: Diameter 11 1/4 in., H (over handle) 4 1/2 in. Featured in lot 83. Estimate: 20,000 USD - 30,000 USD— “Rock Crystal Carving of Guanyin.” This is a very rare Tang Dynasty Guanyin because it was carved from a large piece of natural crystal. It is translucent when light is shined on it. It is an excellent piece of Guanyin crystal sculpture. This is indeed a national treasure. Dimensions: H 19 3/4 in. Featured in lot 99. Estimate: 15,000 USD - 30,000 USD— “Owl Shape Container with Inscriptions.” This is a rare Shang Dynasty bronze owl shape container with inscriptions. It is decorated with Taotie, serpine motifs. Estimate: 15,000 USD - 20,000 USD— “Bronze Man Hugging Baby.” This is a very important Western Zhou bronze in the shape of a man hugging his baby.
