In a wooden box lined with red velvet, numerous silver objects partially decorated with frosted glass. Total weight of silver objects without glass content: 22,660g. Featured in lot 438. Estimate: € 30,000-40,000 (33,100 USD - 44,100 USD)— “Extensive silver cutlery with ivory handles,” Paris, from 1838. Hallmarked in Parisian fineness for 950 silver and unidentified master’s mark. Silver chased with engraved ivory handles. A total of about 225 parts, including fish cutlery, dinner service, dessert cutlery and serving utensils for up to 18 people. Ivory attacks partially colored. Total weight without the casket, but with the ivory handles: 13,940g. Featured in lot 445.
